Privacy policy

This policy describes the current Market Player Labs website and browser-based demo game. It does not describe Telegram or WhatsApp.

1. Information used by the game

No account, name, email address, wallet or payment details are required to play. Game settings, virtual trades, results and a random session identifier are processed in your browser. The game uses session storage to retain a random session ID and flags that prevent duplicate first-game events within that tab. Closing the tab or clearing browser storage removes these session values, subject to your browser's session-restoration settings.

The optional Trader profile quiz keeps your five answers in session storage in your browser. When you finish the quiz, we save the five selected answers, interface language, completion time, quiz version and a random response ID in a private Google Sheet, using Google Apps Script. We use these records to review trading interests and improve the setup recommendations. This submission is separate from optional activity analytics. We do not send your quiz answers to Meta Pixel, GTM, Amplitude or our AWS analytics service. No name, email address or phone number is collected by the quiz. On the result page, Get platform access opens our bot trial page. Its optional Account Manager link opens Telegram with a draft access request; you decide whether to send it. Telegram processes data under its own privacy policy. The game sends you directly to the trial page. We record this route in activity analytics. Language, country and campaign labels supplied in the URL are passed through these pages and to the linked trading platform. Clearing browser storage removes local answers but does not delete a submitted response. Contact support@marketplayerlabs.com to request deletion; your random response ID can help us locate it.

The language is chosen from the URL’s lang parameter, your saved choice or your browser language. Your language preference is stored in local storage. We do not request geolocation to select a language.

2. Optional activity analytics

We use Amplitude and our AWS-hosted analytics service by default to collect limited activity information: page visits, Play clicks, game progress, bot choices, simulated results, profile starts and completions, and Telegram/WhatsApp-link clicks. Events include a random browser identifier, session identifier, timestamps, page path, referring website hostname and campaign labels. Your browser sends connection information, including its IP address, to these services. This is pseudonymous analytics; no name, email, wallet or payment details are requested. Simulated results are not real financial transactions.

A random analytics identifier and any analytics preference you select are stored in local storage; campaign labels and analytics session information are kept in session storage. There is no separate analytics acceptance prompt. A previously saved opt-out remains in effect. You can continue playing with analytics turned off. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. The embedded homepage demo does not send game analytics. Events while analytics is disabled are not uploaded later.

Amplitude processes analytics on our behalf in our existing analytics project. We also send the same limited activity events to our AWS-hosted event store so gameplay can be analysed alongside activity on our other websites. See Amplitude’s privacy information. The separate local game log remains in browser memory and is cleared on reload. We record Telegram clicks, not whether you join a community.

3. Hosting and technical data

Our hosting and network providers necessarily process connection information, which may include IP address, requested page, browser information, timestamps and security or error logs, to deliver and protect the site. This technical processing is distinct from the local game log. Completed quiz responses are stored in the private Google Sheet described above; they are not publicly accessible. Provider-side security and operational retention follows the hosting provider's arrangements and is not controlled by the game's browser-storage settings.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, operating the requested service and handling relevant enquiries may be necessary to perform our agreement with you. Security, troubleshooting and service reliability are pursued in our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Activity analytics helps us understand use of the site and improve the experience. We respect browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.

5. Community links and information you send

Community links open the Market Player community on Telegram. Get platform access opens a private message to @marketplayeradmin; the optional WhatsApp link opens a private message. See also WhatsApp’s privacy policy. Telegram receives information according to its own privacy policy; it does not receive your game score from this site. Information you voluntarily post in a community may be visible to other members. Avoid posting sensitive information publicly. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and address your request, retaining it only as needed for that purpose and applicable legal obligations.

6. Sharing and international processing

We do not sell player data. We share page views and the game activity described below with Meta for advertising measurement unless tracking is disabled. We share the limited analytics described above with Amplitude and our AWS-hosted event store unless analytics is disabled. Service providers may process technical data on our behalf, and disclosure may be necessary to comply with law or protect the service. Providers may operate in other countries. Where legally required, appropriate safeguards must apply to transfers of personal information.

7. Your choices and rights

You can play without joining Telegram, leave at any time and clear site storage in your browser. Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of personal information, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.

8. Children, changes and contact

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly request personal information from children. We will update this policy when the site's data practices change. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@marketplayerlabs.com.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details. The Market Player Labs container loads Meta Pixel for page-view and advertising measurement; Amplitude analytics continues separately. Our game also sends Meta events when you place your first practice trade, finish the practice game, open bot selection, start or finish a bot demo, finish a challenge, click replay, click Telegram, start or complete bot setup, or click platform access through Telegram or WhatsApp. These custom events include an event identifier and a simulation label; they do not include virtual stakes, profit or loss, or real transaction values. Meta may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, page URL and cookie identifiers. A Telegram-click event measures a link click, not a confirmed community join. See Meta’s Privacy Policy. The loader respects saved Google measurement preferences, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals, and is disabled in the embedded homepage game preview. Google explains its processing at Google Privacy Policy.
